Between September 2010 and June 2011 we continued offering homework help to children in the San José neighborhood. We are gradually becoming a part of the community and neighbors seem more receptive. A man in his 80´s who knows some carpentry and lives on the same street as our meeting place, made some quality shelves for us at a discounted price. Adults have stopped by and asked if we can help with adult education. We are very thankful to a generous donor who has committed to cover the cost of rent. Still, finding volunteers to help out with the ministry continues to be a challenge, yet we believe God is opening some doors for the gospel to touch many lives here.
