Yes indeed, the journey was long, both figuratively and literally, but we have finally made it to Tenancingo and now we are getting established. Tomorrow we will be seeing a few options for apartments and schools for the children, getting some legal paperwork done, getting a cell phone and starting to meet new people.
We're spending the first few days with our team leaders, Chris and Kathy Gouzoules. Please be in prayer with us that we will have patience, wisdom and peace about our decisions. I'm reminded of an old song by the Imperials which has a line "He didn't bring us this far to leave us." We have seen the hand of God on each step of the journey here and know that He will continue to fulfill the purposes for which He has called us to live and work here at this time.

Awesome! Praise the Lord!
Glad to hear you're there safely!
Matt & Lina, your news brings back memories. We arrived in Spain in December (40 years ago, the 18th) to begin our missionary career. Also had a "breakdown", as the day before we'd planned to leave the west coast to head for Spain David had to be hospitalized for an accute first-time kidney stone attack. Trust these days continue for you without too much stress and with lots of joy.
Hi Matt & Lina!
Glad to hear y'all made it there finally. Just wanted to send a hello from Donna, Cheryl and I. Our prayers are with you all.
