we all need a life map

The last two weeks of training have centered around the idea of a Life Map. We have taken numerous tests involving personality, strengths, spiritual gifts, passions, skills, life experience, character and spiritual formation and such. Then we have had a number of activities, lectures, discussions, consultations, interviews and feedback sessions to help it all out. Not to mention a few visits to buildings and activities of other faiths (hindu temple, mosque). A lot of this is overwhelming, and one would need time to process somehow, but between wanting to spend some time with the kids (who spend most of the day in on-site child care) and going over to/having fellow Missionaries In Training over for dinner, there has been little time to digest many of the good, insightful, eye-opening perspectives and learnings of this week.

While we return to our regular "work" at Hewitt on Monday 2/12, we still have a few more activities left in February:
1) Drive from Chicago to SC for Matthew's brother John's wedding. Samuel will be the ring-bearer and Rebeca will be the flower girl, while Matthew will stand with John and the rest of the party.

2) Fly down to Mexico to visit Tenancingo, where we plan to go work. We'll spend some time with the team which is already there and then have a few days in Mexico City with Lina's side of the family.
